InterMicro is Top 5 2008-2009 Open Systems, Inc. Partner

July 7, 2009 – InterMicro, LLC has been named a Top 5 partner selling Open Systems software products in the United States. Based in Greenville, SC, InterMicro was recently honored for outstanding sales performance at the 2009 Open Systems Partners in Profit Conference in Las Vegas. The award was presented to Scott Buckelew, Vice-President of InterMicro.

Conference Update

June was a busy month. First the annual Partner Conference was held the 7th through the 9th. Then the fourth annual Customer Excellence Conference was held the 9th through the 11th.       

Both conferences were held in South Point Resort in Las Vegas.

The two and a half days for each conference were packed with training, networking, education, looks at upcoming versions of TRAVERSE and OSAS, and a little bit of fun thrown in. 

This year’s highlights included first looks at both TRAVERSE v11 and OSAS v7.6, 56 technical, user and partner breakouts, networking opportunities to meet other users, and meeting OSI strategic partners and the Open Systems staff. 

If you missed this year’s conference please consider it for next year (September). If you made it to this year’s conference it was great seeing you.

Federal Minimum Wage Change       

Effective July 24, 2009 the federal minimum wage increases from $6.55 to $7.25 per hour. This is the final phased increase from the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

Tax Changes  

In the past month North Dakota and Hawaii Withholding tax variables have changed. Effective July 1, 2009 Louisiana Withholding tables and tax calculation formula is changing and July 24, 2009 the federal minimum wage changes to $7.25.

Paper changes to adjust theses states withholding tables for OSAS versions 7.5x and 7.0x are available on our website.

Paper changes including an update file for Louisiana for TRAVERSE versions 10.5x and 10.2x are available.  Contact us for details.

Automated Moving of TRAVERSE Database

This program will execute a process on the source server that will save the users, groups and security settings for each database selected. Then it will back up the databases and restore them on the destination server. And finally execute a process on the destination server that will restore the users, groups and security for each of the databases.
